The letters contain my thoughts as a young Marine and continued through the end of my tour where I was still young but far more experienced.the letters came to me when my aunt mailed them to me 33 years after Vietnam. One of her comments was she believed that I should have the letters published. My thoughts were that they were too personal to be published and would not be of any benefit to anyone.
